Articles that really move the needle!
That’s the vision 🙂 Maria Storgaard got the idea for SewingMachineTalk.com in 2016. We aim to create a strong resource for everyone who wants to get into sewing, as well as the more experienced crowd. The sewing machines get more and more advanced, and it’s hard to stay on top of all the new features and possibilities.
We try to sort through new products and share our honest reviews and thoughts.
Maria Fredgaard Storgaard
Maria started sewing when she was 6-years-old, and she never stopped. Through the years she has made a ton of wedding dresses, jackets, pants, sweaters, skirts, etc.
In her own words, she started out on a cheap non-brand sewing machine, that ate the fabric. Today she uses a Bernina sewing machine and a Husquarna serger/overlock machine.
Maria has studied fashion design at the Copenhagen School of Fashion and Design, but her skills come from hard work and are self-taught.
Morten makes sure the website works properly, and he also helps out with reviews and guides.
